Current Events
Welcome to Granville United Methodist Church! We hope that you can join us for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. Please see the announcements below for all of our upcoming events. Have a Blessed Week!

Order your Christmas poinsettias now! We are taking orders for red poinsettias to adorn the sanctuary this Christmas season. Orders must be given to Kari Ann by Monday, November 21st. Poinsettias can be placed “In Honor” or “In Memory” of someone special. (If you need to contact Kari Ann, please email your name and phone number/email to granvilleumchurch@gmail.com.)

We are looking for volunteers to help set up the Live Nativity display on December 1st. We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the empty lot beside the Embassy Theater. We hope that you can join us!

Attention all members over the age of 55: we are interested in setting up a driver safety course. We need to have at least 8-10 people in order to host the class. This will involve an 8-hour class for new participants and a 4 hour “refresher” class for former participants who wish to keep their insurance discount. After taking the class you will get a 5% discount on your auto insurance bill. Some insurances will offer more than the required 5%. The discount is good for 3 years. The fee is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested, please leave a message at Granville UMC at 717-248-5958. Once we get a count of those interested then we will proceed to set up a class.
