Have you ever prayerfully considered an Outreach Ministry to your local Veterans?

Has God been leading you towards this Ministry, but you’re hesitant because you’re not sure how to get started?
If you answered “yes” to either question above, or if you’re curious about beginning a Ministry to your local Veterans, please consider attending the following:

WHAT: Home Initiative training- “An Outreach Initiative to Equip Local Churches, through a Ministry of Presence, to care for our Returned and Returning Combat and Peacetime Veterans and their Loved Ones with an Open Mind, a Listening Ear, and Compassionate Conversation”

WHERE: First UMC in Lewistown, 200 East 3rd Street (Corner of 3rd and Dorcas Streets), Lewistown, PA 17044.

WHEN: Saturday, October 25th, from 8:30-4:30 (does not conflict with the Penn State/Ohio State game at 8:00 pm)

COST: A few hours of your time. Training Materials will be provided by the State College District Office to the first 30 registrants.
